Wool naturally pills, however with minimal care, these beanies can last you many years. Please note exposing the wool to heat or distress may cause it to felt.
If you notice any pilling, you can de-pill any visible fuzziness on your beanie by gently cutting off any fuzz with scissors. Be extremely careful never to cut into the wool spiral. Dry cleaning merino wool will also help reduce any signs of pilling.
We recommend that you store your hat inside of a plastic, silk, or satin bag to reduce any pulling of the wool fibers- this will protect the wool from gathering any unwanted lint.
Cleaning
We recommend professional dry cleaning only as a means to clean your hat. However, you can spot clean, if needed, with a cold, damp, soft cloth.
If you need to rejuvenate your faux fur pom, gently steam it for 30 seconds while being very careful not to steam the wool.
